Meek Refrigeration Inc. is a full service company specializing in Refrigeration, HVAC, Contracting, and Sheet-Metal/Ductwork. We are experienced in commercial and residential applications and carry a commitment to service and quality workmanship. Meek Refrigeration Incorporated has a long heritage in serving the commercial refrigeration (low/medium temp.) and HVAC (heating, ventilating & air conditioning) industries in Odessa and the surrounding communities. The company proudly carries the name of Mr. M. H. (Marian) Meek who was one of the few pioneers in this industry in West Texas and the Permian Basin, dating back to his early years as a technician in the 1940's.

In the 1960's, Mr. Meek joined with Mr. H. F. (Foy) Meador, another pioneer of our industry, to form a partnership that primarily took care of the commercial refrigeration needs of this community. When they decided to dissolve that partnership, they agreed that Foy (Mr. Meador) would continue his part of that business under the established name of Odessa Refrigeration; and Mr. Meek founded a new sole-proprietorship, the Meek Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Company to continue to meet the needs of the customers he had previously established.

Mr. Meek built his business on the time-honored principles of high-level technical expertise, extensive experience, availability, dependability and reliability, and honesty beyond reproach. We thrive to carry on that tradition today. In 1983, Mr. C. E. Hadaway, and his son-in-law Bill Kilgore purchased the company from Mr. Meek. During the late 1980's-early 90's, Meek Refrigeration grew modestly to a company with 3-4 technicians working from 3 service vehicles, expanding our operations to offer our services more widely to the residential HVAC market and the communities (Midland/ Monahans/ Big Spring/ Andrews) surrounding Odessa.

In 1993, the company was incorporated with new ownership by our present parent company Reliant Holdings Ltd. Meek Refrigeration Incorporated began a time of accelerated growth. The company entered the HVAC building construction market, expanded our share of the residential HVAC market; and widened existing markets by successively adding new customers (e.g. Wal-Mart/Sam's Clubs/ Southwest Convenience Stores & 7-11); and the company began to grow at an accelerated pace.

However, with a needed change in management, in 2001 Corey Prichard (currently President) was brought in to mend the company's reputation and get Meek back on the track of success that it had been so blessed to experience over the past 40 years. Along with the determined support on the part of our ownership and employees, Meek Refrigeration Incorporated has managed to emerge from that perilous time with greater assets and financial strength to meet the increasing needs of our expanding industries, established markets and customer base, potential new markets and customers, as we continued to strive to maintain our reputation and heritage.

Under the new Management Team our workforce has increased (currently some 35 employees), vehicles and construction equipment have been added as needed, and up-to date Dispatching/ Invoicing & Accounting software has been added to service the increasing technical requirements of the ever-changing industries and markets we serve. We believe that Meek Refrigeration Incorporated has entered a bright new era in our continuing our "heritage". We face the great potential of extending our operations to offer our expertise and service capabilities to the extensive and ever growing markets of the Permian Basin and beyond.
